Time to get ready for School

It was a great summer
but there is nothing like the kids going back to school.
Justin is in 4th Grade this year
and
Weston starts Head Start Preschool.

Happy Birthday Amy!!!
Happy Birthday Amy!!!

Growing up side by side gives us
the opportunity to cross many of
life's bridges together.
What a comfort it is to know that it
doesn't matter which bridge I cross
over, there you will always be,
next to me, my sister.

next to me, my sister.
Happy Birthday To my one and only sister,
I love you and thank you for everything you have done for me.
I hope your Birthday is everything you expected it to be.
Love you Always, Tris

Happy Birthday Dad!!!
Happy Birthday Dad!!
We miss you and love you,
but we also know you are in a better place.
Letting Go
God saw you getting tired. When a cure was not to be,
He closed his arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me".
In tears we saw you sinking. We watched you fade away.
Our hearts were almost broken, you fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping so peacefully free from pain,
We could not wish you back to suffer so again.
So keep your arms around him Lord, and give him special care.
Make up for all he suffered and all that seemed unfair.
"So I will not say Good-bye but simply say see you later".
This is for you, the one who always gets the last laugh!

This is for you, the one who always gets the last laugh!

Happy Father's Day
This is for all the wonderful father's in my life
Starting with the love for life and father of my children: Austin

Second: To my Dad, Who I miss dearly.

To my Step-Dad: Don:
Father's Day
Over the years
As we grow old,
We remember our father
So brave and bold.
In the garden,
Leaning on the plow,
He would listen to me;
I see him now.
He would give advice
And understand;
He was always there
To lend a hand.
God made fathers
Strong and firm,
For he knew our lives
Would have great concerns.
So he gave us fathers
To teach us to pray,
And guide our lives,
And show us the way.
So on his day
Let's take the time
To say "Thanks, dad.
I'm glad you're mine."
Mary Frances Bogle
And to both my grandfathers: Grandpa Ahleen and Grandpa Pete
Grandfathers Are Fathers Who Are Grand
Grandfathers are fathers who are grand,
Restoring the sense that our most precious things
Are those that do not change much over time.
No love of childhood is more sublime,
Demanding little, giving on demand,
Far more inclined than most to grant the wings
Allowing us to reach enchanted lands.
Though grandfathers must serve as second fathers,
Helping out with young and restless hearts,
Each has all the patience wisdom brings,
Remembering our passions more than others,
Soothing us with old and well-honed arts.

Trip to the zoo with Billie and Gary Rudolph
Billie and Gary stopped and spent a couple day hanging out with Justin. The First day-Justin went to lunch, swimming and work on his favorite thing with his grandma- Origami. Later that night we all went to dinner. Second day- they treated us to a trip to the Zoo.

After the trip to the zoo I insisted on making dinner,
so we had a BBQ, Mom and Don came down. We had a great dinner and
had fun talking and sharing stories.

Justin Came home on June 2. It was exactly 2 months to the day that they left to go to St. Louis, MO. Its amazing how fast that happened. But we are happy that everyone is back home, where they belong. We love you guys.
